Goals are most difficult when the finish line is within sight.
I’ve done 27 essays in this cohort. This is my 28th essay. Only two more after this and onto the March cohort.
Why do things become more difficult when the finish line is within sight?
The idea generator is sputtering. Ideas are not generating fast enough. You see your potential topics. You’ve written about most of them already.
It wouldn’t hurt to skip a day. Right?
Wrong. Showing up is the key to this. Consistency over talent. Talent improves the more you practice.
Showing up is the hardest part. Sitting down to write is the showing up.
This is today’s essay. Two more days.
